We got up with great anticpation to finish off the back-to-school shopping. The intent was to hit the Outlets. We got on the road and had to stop for gas. Immediately after that, Victoria, in normal fashion, announces she needs to go potty. We pull into Fred Meyer and everyone gets out, only to shop there the next 2 hours and pretty much got what we needed. Even picked up some steaks for dinner. So, needless to say, we saved a trip out to the Outlets and had the rest of the afternoon/evening free. Dillon and I did make a trip to the mall later to get his back pack (it's HUGE!) and I had to return something. I really enjoyed my time spent with him alone, which is rare. It was great to come home to dinner, already prepared. Thanks David!!! Tomorrow David starts back at work and the kids' last and final day of summer!
